Miguel Arzabe
currently resides and works in San Francisco, California.  He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from
Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; an MS in Environmental
Fluid Dynamics from Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona; and an MFA from
UC Berkeley, Berkeley, California. 

Arzabe makes
work that draws from the concerns of conceptual art and painting.  His works are held in the following
collections: Anne
and Paul Wattis, San Francisco, California; Robert and Elaine Stein Gallery,
Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio; Albuquerque Museum of Art and History,
Albuquerque, New Mexico; Oakland Museum of California, Oakland, California; San Francisco
Arts Commission, San Francisco, California; County of Alameda, Alameda, California; and kW Engineering,
Inc., Oakland, California.

Arzabe’s
work was featured in Hors Pistes 2011 and 2012 at the Centre Pompidou in Paris,
France; the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in Montréal, Canada; Summer Drift at RM
Projects in Auckland, New Zealand; Wood Anniversary at Marylhurst University in
Portland, Oregon; and at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco,
California. From 2010 to 2012 he worked out of his studio at the Headlands Center
for the Arts, Sausalito, California.  Arzabe’s
most recent solo shows include *Reject
