Rory Solomon is an artist and software engineer. He has built database-backed web applications for the Parsons Institute for Information Mapping, Red Hat (formerly ArsDigita), and Oracle Corporation. He has developed software for art projects featured in the Whitney Biennial, the Berkely Art Musuem, and the National Art Museum of China. His personal work explores the relationships between real and virtual architectures, and the notion of work in the information age. He currently teaches computer programming to art and design students at Parsons the New School for Design.
