Sara Gifford began performing in dance and theatrical productions at the age of 15 and received a B.A. in Dance/Movement Therapy from Sonoma State University. She then performed as principal dancer for the Christopher Beck Dance Theater Company for 5 years. Ms. Gifford also performed in myriad dance and theater productions both as collaborator and performer throughout the Bay Area. After having children (Isabella and Angelina Marriott) she took a leave of absence from the stage, only returning to dance samba in San Francisco’s Carnival Parade. In 2004 Ms. Gifford received a Master’s Degree in Somatic Psychology from The California Institute of Integral Studies. She currently runs a dance group for young women with special needs and abilities.
