Sara Lucas

Sara Lucas is a New York-based singer, songwriter guitarist and producer. As founder and co-bandleader of Callers, a collaborative project with composer/producer/guitarist Ryan Seaton, she has toured Europe and North America headlining and supporting others such as Dirty Projectors, Here We Go Magic, ESG and Wye Oak. With Callers she has released three full-length albums, two EPs and a collaborative seven-inch split with Luaka Bop artist, Delicate Steve. Internationally touring and recording has brought Sara into contact with a wide range of DIY-arts organizers and activists. “I do what I do because I find that the greatest reward in life is to move people — to make them feel,” says Sara. “I hope that I can achieve this in my quest for channeling beauty in the original, personal and community creation of sound as it defines movement and time.”
