Sathit Sattarasart

Sathit Sattarasart (1979) is a Thai artist whose works are based on the ideas of possibilities/uncertainties/ processes from art making to everyday life. Sathit works in every possible way around art including creating ways to create a piece, but not only focusing on the actual piece, but more on processes around it. Sathit recently had his solo shows at Gallery VER in 2010 and 2009. His works have been shown at some international group exhibitions and festivals among them, Temporary Storage #1 at Bangkok Art and Cultural Center in 2012, ABC Art Berlin Contemporary (screening) 2010, Busan Biennale 2006, Asian Contemporary Art Week in NYC 2006. Sathit received his BFA from Chulalongkorn University in 2003. From 2008 to 2010, he worked as Media Art lecturer at Bangkok University. Currently Sathit works and lives between Frankfurt am Main, Germany and Bangkok, Thailand.
