Poet and writer Tom Sleigh has received numerous awards, including the Poetry Society of America’s Shelley Award and most recently an American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Literature. He has been compared by the New York Times to Yeats and is considered by many to be one of the most important poets of his generation. Tom teaches at Dartmouth College and in New York University’s graduate creative writing program. He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and New York City. Tom recently completed a new play and a book of poems that will be published in 2006 by Houghton Mifflin.
