Yiumsiri Vantanapindu

Born in Bangkok,
Vantanapindu lives and works in France. She studied and worked in the
artistic domain in Thailand before moving to France in 2005 with the ambition
to study art and design. In 2011 she graduated from the École Supérieure Des
Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg where she studied in the jewelry studio,
obtaining the DNSEP (Master in Art) with Honors. After completing her studies,
she worked as an assistant in jewelry studios and ceramic studios in ESAD of
Strasbourg. She also worked as an assistant to French artists working in
contemporary ceramics, sculpture and installation. Currently, her work in
Alsace is centered around sculpture, ceramics, and contemporary jewelry,
confronting and connecting different artistic traditions such as the Western
