Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month and recognize the contributions, history, culture, and influence of our local lowrider community.
Due to popular demand, we are pleased to join the United Lowrider Council of San Jose (ULCSJ) and Local Color SJ to present our 2nd Annual Lowrider Art Showcase. Using the historic grounds of Montalvo and Santa Clara County Park trails, we are excited to bring back this fun, free, family-friendly afternoon—which will feature a fleet of stunning lowrider cars on the Great Lawn; art-making and painting demonstrations in the gardens; local artists and vendors; DJs and dancing; and delicious options from local food vendors.
Start your journey on A Path Forward: Honoring Ohlone Land & Spirit and our powerful new living monument hummingbird sculpture, explore Montalvo’s art, gardens, and grounds, and enjoy a beautiful afternoon with us!
Free shuttle service to the event will be available from West Valley College, Parking Lot 5 (entrance on Fruitdale Avenue). Please proceed directly to West Valley to park your vehicle and take the shuttle; parking at the West Valley lot is also free.
