We go above and beyond to help make your event a success.

Guests can enjoy the historic Villa, the Spanish Courtyard, and the verandas overlooking the Great Lawn. The Oval Garden and the new Garden Terrace may also be used for larger groups (tenting is available). And our intimate Carriage House Theatre with seating for 300 can also be used for headliner entertainment during your event.

Montalvo is five minutes from Hwy 17 and Hwy 85; 10 minutes from 280; and 20 minutes from downtown San Jose. We have an exemplary list of caterers and preferred vendors and our team will help you with planning and will be on-site the night of the event.

What you’ll need for professional or commercial photography.

We welcome photographers of all types. Feel free to take pictures for personal use on Montalvo’s grounds. For professional or commercial photography, we require a permit in advance.
