Worldbuilder, Immersive Director, NYU professor, and founder of the (Re)Writers Room Tony Patrick is the writer/director of screenplays, HBO documentaries and published comics, Batman & The Signal X’ed, Tony’s creation of fictional worlds catapulted him into future-facing residencies/incubators, with Sundance New Frontiers, Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Verizon 5G, NEW INC, Eyebeam, and NYU. He leads programs for underrepresented youth to pursue game design/innovation careers, teaches next-gen comics at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, catalyzes new art, digital spaces, and civic programs in his Community-WorldBuilding Initiative, the (Re)Writers Room, with artists, entrepreneurs, The Guggenheim, Buckminster Fuller Institute, Sundance and communities-at-large.
