Vigueras is a fundamental figure in the avant garde music scene in Mexico. He specializes in
experimental sound practices and creative forms related to free improvisation, interpretation of new music, and sound art. 

Musician specialized in experimental sound practices and creative forms related to free improvisation, new music and sound art. His work questions the objectual nature of the instruments, recreating different concrete forms of sound production.

He has collaborated in several projects with artists Carmina Escobar, Ute Wassermann, Ricardo Castillo, Gabriela Gordillo, Dora Juárez Kiczkovsky, Jaap Blonk, Daniel Godínez Nivón, Aura Arreola, Galia Eibenschutz, Katia Castañeda, among others.

He is a member of the Mexican improvisation collective Generación Espontánea and the Cuatro Minimal multicultural ensemble.

He achieved a Masters Degree in Interpretation in the Postgraduate Music Program of the UNAM and has a degree as an instrumentalist in guitar Facultad de Música / UNAM. Also he completed a degree in Jazz studies at Escuela Superior de Música / INBA.

As a promoter Vigueras has curated series and programs focused on sound art, experimental music and interdisciplinary arts for institutions as Centro Cultural de España en México and Casa del Lago and museums Ex Teresa Arte Actual, MUAC and Museo Universitario del Chopo in Mexico City.
