Abbi Jutkowitz is a film editor working across genres in documentaries, shorts, television, and feature narrative films. Her work has screened at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), in Un Certain Regard at Cannes, at the Tribeca Film Festival, and at the Frameline Film Festival, among others. Her work has appeared on HBO, History Channel, and in theaters internationally. Abbi’s first editor credit, As You Are, was awarded a Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. Other notable credits from her more than 18 years in the film industry include Saturday Church, Lizzie, Super Size Me, Julie & Julia, and The Darjeeling Limited. In 2016, Jutkowitz was awarded the prestigious Sally Menke Editing Fellowship at the Sundance Directors Lab. She is a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild (MPEG) and an associate member of American Cinema Editors (A.C.E.). She has also served as an editing mentor for SFFILM’s FilmHouse Residency program. Jutkowitz holds a BFA from the Conservatory of Film at the State University of New York at Purchase.
