Patricia Alessandrini, Daiane Lopes da Silva, and Weidong Yang

Patricia Alessandrini, musician and professor at Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics at Stanford University, and Daiane Lopes da Silva and Weidong Yang, directors of Kinetech Arts, first began collaborating when they met at the Djerassi Resident Artists program in 2019 during the five-week Scientific Delirium Madness residency. They have continued to work together for the last three years, presenting their collective work at Swissnex; organizing a residency in Madeira, Portugal; making cite-specific work on location in the US; and collaborating on large-scale KA projects such as AI Sensorium (2018-2020) which was presented in San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Berlin, Novi Ligure (Italy), and Aurum, a new multisensory installation and performance commissioned by the 836M Gallery in San Francisco, premièred in March 2023.
