Estefania Ajcip

Estefania Ajcip is a Los Angeles based artist whose work explores longing, memory, and migration. She earned her B.F.A. from California State University, Long Beach in 2022. Her art has been exhibited nationally, including at La Plaza de Cultura y Arte and the Santa Barbara Museum, which acquired her work for its permanent collection. Ajcip has received several awards, including first place at the Consulate of Mexico, L.A., and recognition from the Lakers’ In the Paint program. Her practice draws on personal letters and fragmented memories, connecting her own story to broader experiences of distance, family, and resilience.
