Lennard Davis is a Distinguished Professor of English at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Davis explores the political, literary, and ethical controversies of disability in numerous books and venues such as Enforcing Normalcy: Disability, Deafness and the Body; The End of Normal: Identity in a Bicultural Era; and memories including My Sense of Silence: Memoir of a Childhood with Deafness. He is CODA: Child of a Deaf Adult.

Risk Activity: Davis added all handwritten text in the background (except for CODA). He lives in Chicago and NYC.

Eli Clare, poet and essayist, is one of the most influential artists and theorists working in Disability Culture. His many books include Brilliant Imperfection: Grappling with Cure (2017) and Exile and Pride: Disability, Queerness and Liberation (1999). Clare is based in Burlington, VT.
