Nestled in the foothills of Silicon Valley, Montalvo Arts Center is 175 acres of pure inspiration. We are a multidisciplinary arts center and nonprofit organization serving the South Bay and beyond with a diverse range of arts, education, and community programs. We are also a public park, open daily from 8am–sunset for visits to our gardens, hiking trails, and outdoor artworks. I hope you’ll come and experience this beautiful place with your family and friends as you hike, explore the gardens, and see our collection of Art on the Grounds.
This past summer, we were thrilled to debut a new, permanent, living monument entitled A Path Forward: Honoring Ohlone Land & Spirit, a collaborative project with the Santa Clara County Parks and the Confederation of Ohlone People. It was unveiled along with our 2024 Marcus Exhibition, Future Dreaming… A Path Forward, which features several extraordinary sculptural works on view through November 10.
As we look to the last months of the year, the holiday spirit is alive and well at Montalvo! You can enjoy seasonal wreath-making classes, our annual Yuletide Boutique, see holiday shows in the 2024-2025 Carriage House season, and watch the live, site-integrated production of A Christmas Carol throughout December in partnership with Silicon Valley Shakespeare.
While you’re on this site, you can learn about our mission and vision, see all of our upcoming events, and dive into our inspiring Sally and Don Lucas Artists Residency Program. You can join our fantastic community of Montalvo supporters by becoming a donor.
There’s something for everyone at Montalvo…stART here!
