My child’s Favorite Part of Camp “Hanging out with other campers and exploring the grounds”

– Summer Camp Parent

22-26 JUN, 2026 | 1 week day camp | Age 5-7

Grow your young campers’ visual arts skills through the lens of natural objects found on adventures of our 175 acres at Montalvo Arts Center. In this one-week campers will craft wearable objects, examine the dynamic lines, patterns, shapes, textures, and colors found in nature, in order to incorporate their discoveries into unique figures, mascots sketches, painting, and collage projects. From buttons and stickers to stamps, your 5-7 year old camper will explore how to tie-dye fabric and make charms.

All materials and supplies included with camp fee. As a part of their Montalvo Arts Center experience, all summer campers will have the opportunity to explore and learn about the native plants and animals around the property and our Santa Clara County Park trails.

Discover a cultural oasis in Silicon Valley’s foothills. Montalvo Arts Center spans over 100 acres of woodland trails and gardens in Saratoga, located less than 20 minutes from Los Gatos, West San Jose, Monte Sereno, Campbell, Cupertino, Los Altos, Mountain View, Santa Clara, and Sunnyvale. We are a member-supported nonprofit organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of all people through the arts.

We serve our community year-round through diverse programming, including summer camps, educational field trips, concerts in the Carriage House Performing Arts Series, rotating exhibitions, the prestigious Lucas Artists Residency Program, and free community festivals.

Beyond our programs, everyone is welcome to enjoy a picnic on the Great Lawn, stroll through beautiful gardens, and experience our permanent outdoor sculpture collection—all free of charge. With the support of our community, we’re making the arts accessible to all in this remarkable setting.
