My child most enjoyed being with friends and eating their creations.”

8-12 JUN, 2026 | 1 week day camp | Age 7-10

Step into an enchanting world at Montalvo, where imagination blooms and every day feels like a garden tea party! In this camp, young hosts will learn the art of tea time through hands-on cooking, crafting, and navigating Montalvo’s caterers’ kitchen. Campers will mix, bake, and decorate their own cupcakes, scones, and savory treats, then brew and serve delightful herbal teas inspired by nature. Between baking sessions, they’ll explore Montalvo’s lush gardens and hidden pathways, gathering inspiration for their table settings and themed celebrations. The week culminates in a charming tea party they plan and host themselves—complete with handmade decorations and delicious treats. Blending creativity, teamwork, and a touch of elegance, Secret Garden Tea invites campers to discover the joy of sharing good company and beautiful moments in a magical garden setting.

All materials and supplies included with camp fee As a part of their Montalvo Arts Center experience, all summer campers will have the opportunity to explore and learn about the native plants and animals around the property and its Santa Clara County Park trails.

Discover a cultural oasis in Silicon Valley’s foothills. Montalvo Arts Center spans over 100 acres of woodland trails and gardens in Saratoga, located less than 20 minutes from Los Gatos, West San Jose, Monte Sereno, Campbell, Cupertino, Los Altos, Mountain View, Santa Clara, and Sunnyvale. We are a member-supported nonprofit organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of all people through the arts.

We serve our community year-round through diverse programming, including summer camps, educational field trips, concerts in the Carriage House Performing Arts Series, rotating exhibitions, the prestigious Lucas Artists Residency Program, and free community festivals.

Beyond our programs, everyone is welcome to enjoy a picnic on the Great Lawn, stroll through beautiful gardens, and experience our permanent outdoor sculpture collection—all free of charge. With the support of our community, we’re making the arts accessible to all in this remarkable setting.
